Students must follow the ‘Sample Question Paper’ format: CBSE

In a recently released circular, the Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has said that the students preparing for the 2020 board exams must take into consideration 'Sample Question Papers' released by the CBSE in September. The annual board exams will be held in March and the practicals for the same will commence in January.Every year, CBSE releases the curriculum details for classes 9, 10, 11 and 12. Apart from the curriculum, the board also releases the blueprint of the question paper for the annual exams.Earlier, the curriculum and the blueprint of the exams were uploaded by the board in April but now the board has asked the schools to consider recently released Sample question paper from the exam point of view and not the blueprint given in the curriculum."Design of Sample Question Papers may also be used by the schools for the Pre-Board Examinations to make the students familiar with the changes made by the CBSE so that they feel no stress during Boards Examinations," the circular said.Same as the design given in the curriculum, the sample paper also contains the whole details about the paper. According to the CBSE, the sample papers released in September may or may not fully comply with the blueprint given in the curriculum which was released in April. "Sample Question Papers include modifications introduced by the CBSE," says the Board.
