NTA released sample paper for JEE Mains 2020 exam

National Testing Agency has released a mock paper for the 2020 JEE exam which contains sample questions for long-form or numerical type questions. This is the first time when these typed of questions will be introduced in the exam. JEE Main exam is a pre-requisite exam for appearing in the JEE Advanced exam. From 2020 NTA will ask long-form questions in the JEE Main exam in the form of numerical. These questions will not have any negative marking but experts believe that these questions will bring down the accuracy level in the JEE Main exam and hence will reduce the cut-off.The move to include long-form questions came after several stakeholders criticized the methodology of assessing the students only on objective questions. Many stakeholders believed that objective-questions are not the right way to assess the students and urged for a holistic assessment system.’
