JEE Mains application window reopened for students from Jammu and Kashmir



Candidates from Jammu and Kashmir can apply for the JEE Mains exam as National Testing Agency has extended the online application date for the JEE Mains exam only for the students from Jammu and Kashmir. The application window will close on November 8, 2019. The exam is scheduled to be held from January 6 to January 11, 2020 and will be conducted in computer-based mode.The admit cards for the exam will be available for download from December 6, 2019. The exam will be available in English, Hindi, or Gujarati. Earlier, the exam was conducted once a year but now it is conducted twice a year -- January and April. Candidates can appear in either or both the exams. In case, candidate choose to appear for both the exam then the best score in either exam will considered for shortlisting the candidate for JEE Advanced.Earlier, there was single exam for B.Arch. and B.Planning. But now, with the addition of a new exam there are three papers in JEE Mains. Paper 1 is for the candidates who wish to study BE or B.Tech., paper 2 is for the B.Arch. and paper 3 is for B.Planning.
